Change your scenery with the push of a single joystick: Both active and passive stage wagons have traditionally been very complex equipment to use. From manoeuvring to compensator lifts to safe operation, there are literally hundreds of axes and sensors being activated for a single move. Now, C·A·T V5 can take care of all of this, so you can focus on your show.

Turn heads (and your stage) with a revolving stage or stage wagon and accurate positioning systems. You can have multiple revolving rings, integrated trapdoors and platforms, you can use it for changeovers or for inaudible scenic movements. You can have a fixed installation, or a mobile turntable that can be stored backstage. In fact, we will engineer the perfect solution for your needs.

Your stage needs to adapt to every viewing scenario. Just like the proscenium can change using mechanised portal bridges and towers, your stage can be inclined in one or two axes, depending on the needs of your show. Just input the desired degree or height into the C·A·T console and our intelligent software assistant will calculate all the necessary moves.

Light up your stage and optimise line of sight for your audience by changing size and aspect ratio of the proscenium. We build portal zones and towers in all sizes and movement options, including the ability to open the portal zone to enlarge your stage opening.

Use these flybars for setting up large scenery pieces and decorations or use them for scenic movement during your shows. A smart layout and stage design helps you maximize the number of available flybars to make the changeover between shows more efficient.

Position your decorations anywhere without complex and time consuming setups. Simply position your points hoists in the fly tower, plug them into the nearest UNICORN cabinet and watch them appear on your C·A·T console. Set. Rig. Go.

Lift the heaviest of loads with slower but powerful chain hoists. Complex sets, decorations or lighting trusses can be easily and safely handled, with mobile or fixed installations giving you flexible lifting options.

The curtain is probably the most emblematic image of a theatre. With it, you frame the experience of your audience and add a visceral feeling of “being in the theatre”. With our stage machinery, you can get every kind of curtain movement – from german to greek or italian curtain, or any combination of the three, including subtle bounce effects.

Optimise the acoustics of your venue without spending hours repositioning your acoustic reflector and banners. Automatically tilt, enlarge, retract or otherwise change reflectors and banners to accommodate different types of performance. The C·A·T control system even includes specially designed tools to efficiently control every aspect of your acoustics.

Adapt your sound system with ease and flexibility. Changing the position of speakers and tilting them precisely is easy using speaker hoists and our mobile wireless control console C·A·T 530R. Move speakers in ad hoc mode, or save different settings for efficient re-use.

Fast, safe and virtually inaudible. Scenically reveal or conceal actors or smaller decorations for maximum effect on stage. Actor lifts can be flexibly positioned under trapdoors across the stage to adapt to every show.

No scene without light. Our lighting trusses can be positioned between the rigging flybars for overhead lighting, below the gallery for side light, or as part of the portal bridge and moved using the C·A·T control system. Software integrations help synchronise position data with different AV systems.

Connect your stage machinery to any other system using sACN / PSN input or output, standard SMPT/E timecode triggers or any number of custom API integrations, while relying on C·A·T’s advanced safety features.
