The Kaohsiung National Center for Arts and Culture is not just a building, but a vibrant symbol of the transformation of a former port city into a cultural epicenter.

With over 6,000 seats, an opera house, a theater, a concert hall, a spacious library and more than 1,000 m² of rehearsal and teaching rooms for music and dance, it is the largest cultural center of its kind in the world.

But its size is not the only thing that impresses. The venue also offers an outdoor stage that can thrill up to 20,000 spectators. It is a place that not only preserves the spirit of the past, but also celebrates the future of art and culture.

The upper machinery is a real powerhouse. In addition, 8 scenery hoists with a lifting height of 12 meters and 4 curtain hoists are in use, offering remarkable flexibility and performance.

The lower machinery is no less impressive. With five double-deck platforms that can carry a dynamic payload of up to 12,500 kilograms and a turntable wagon with an impressive payload of 30,800 kilograms, the venue offers a wide range of options for stage design.
