Carnival Cruise Line

The Mardi Gras and her sister ships, Carnival Celebration and Carnival Jubilee, are cruise ships of Carnival Cruise Line and feature impressive kinetic LED technology.

The panels are located in front of the curved window front in Grand Central and together form an LED surface measuring 21 m x 7 m, on which shows and films can be presented during the cruise.

The special feature of these panels, also known as "blades", is their ability to rotate vertically around their own axis. This means that they can be turned outwards if required when the ship docks in a harbour, so that the videos shown can also be enjoyed from the harbour.

When the video wall is not needed, the panels can be stowed in the stage and ceiling. The so-called "cover panels" close the hatches in the stage floor and make the entire area in front of the window front usable again.
